SKC / A STUDY IN MOTION
ROADSTER.
A different angle on possibility.
Silver surfaces. Dark glass. A silhouette drawn by light. Scroll to see the idea take shape.
EXPLORE THE FORM02 / 06THE SILHOUETTE
Low. Wide.
Unmistakable.
A low wedge meets a continuous glass canopy. The shoulders rise over the wheels, then settle into the long, clean side.
- 01 / PROPORTION
- A low, elongated stance
- 02 / SURFACE
- Smooth shoulders, deliberate creases
03 / 06MATERIAL & LIGHT
Let light
describe it.
Broad reflections travel over silver. Smoked bronze glazing stays dark at its centre. Fine white and red light lines define the edges.
- SILVER COATING
- SMOKED GLASS
- DARK AERO TRIM
04 / 06THE EXTERIOR, UNFOLDED
One form.
Eleven assemblies.
Body, canopy, two doors, trim, rear fascia, wing and four wheels separate along a deliberate path. Each is a real part of this exterior model.
The exterior is reconstructed from photographs. Hidden factory engineering is not represented here.
05 / 06FORM BECOMES MOVEMENT
Made to move
the eye.
The wheels turn. The doors rise. The rear wing changes position. Follow the choreography, or take the camera into your own hands.
Movement illustrates the reconstructed parts. Hinge and wing paths are conceptual.
06 / 06ANOTHER WAY TO LOOK
Curiosity
keeps moving.
A shape is only the beginning. Step into the Mechanism Lab to explore the separate teaching model, its energy paths and interactive principles.
